Love Never Fails
Love Never Fails, a leading Bay Area and Silicon Valley anti-trafficking nonprofit organization, is devoted to expressing to each person that they are valued, precious and loved by their community.
Currently there are 38 emergency shelter beds designated for human trafficking victims in the region we serve. To put this into perspective, Love Never Fails encountered 70 people in one month alone during our monthly street outreaches, of which 25-30 are women who are exploited.
It is painfully obvious that there is a huge discrepancy between the number of reported sex trafficking victims and number of beds available for trafficking survivors, and especially so if a victim has minor children that need to be rescued as well. Another critical missing link is that traditional shelters are not equipped to support victims’ need for immediate medical, emotional, and mental care, and don’t address their need for protection from their abusers.
Your support directly enables us to continue running our newly launched I AM House, a shelter for survivors of human trafficking and their children.
I AM House program participants receive trauma-informed care from trained staff to assist with their restoration process. Services include critical trauma-informed programs such as art, psychosomatic and cognitive therapy plus treatment for anger management, drug and alcohol addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
You will provide survivors and their children with long term services that take them from a place of victimization to a realization that they are powerful, valuable, precious and loved.
